This post hole digger tamping bar is able to tamp in hard to reach places. Curved head makes it possible to get closer to the wall of the hole and closer to the pole itself. Head measures 7″ wide and 1 7/8″ thick at the middle, tapering to 5/8″ thick at each end. Forged steel head with steel socket welded on to accommodate handle. The tamping pole’s handle is secured by flat head rivets. Handles are seasoned hardwood treated with special lacquer.
